“Not So Pretty” debuted on April 14—and the documentary gives HBO Max’s subscribers an exclusive look into some of the most controversial ingredients in beauty products. It also features the professional beauty industry’s workers who are exposed to them.

In other news, L’Oréal heiress Françoise Bettencourt Meyers was recognized by Forbes as the world’s richest woman for the second year in a row. The 68-year-old French citizen is the vice chair of the board of L’Oréal, which her grandfather Eugène Paul Louis Schueller founded in 1909.

In cosmetics news, Rodan + Fields offered to pay $38 million to resolve several class action lawsuits surrounding its Lash Boost product, a serum advertised to dramatically increase lash length and density.
